Only a very very few miners got rich during the gold rush. It was a very sad way to live for most of the miners.
Relatively few got rich, of course. What is interesting is that the most reliable way to make money from the gold rush was probably the people who sold supplies to the miners. Levi-Strauss for example. But you should really read some books on the Gold Rush. There are quite a few. Asking questions on Yahoo is not a reliable way to do a research paper. Get yourself to the library!
Not many of them found any appreciable amount of gold, in fact, there was more money to be made selling food and supplies to the miners.
it’s true that there are many rich men at california bcoz i found more rich men at millionairematch co m they are there. While , i think, it’s not all the people are rich at california.
