I dont think so. The Bills should have won that game easily. Parcells put together a perfect game plan to keep the Bills offense off the field and it worked. The Giants couldnt stop the Bills when the Bills were on offense, so whats the best way to keep them from scoring, keep them off the field.
The 49ers didnt have a dominating RB that year to do what Otis Anderson did in that game. Every single play was pretty much 3 yards up the gut. The Giants took the Bennet out of the game by not running plays to his side. I dont think Siefert could have put together such a successful game plan.
My face would have destroyed a giant flamingo mustache robot in superbowl 25..if it ever happened…….man…….I was so close….
other way around!
Those were some damn good Bills teams. They would have won but I don’t know about destroyed. The NFC was like the AFC now but even better back then
Given their super bowl track record, I would have to say yes, 49ers would have beaten them, no offense to the bills fan above me.
