Eddie D was the best, even though the NFL has a salary cap, there is no limit in issuing signing bonuses and guaranteed money and Eddie D was the master, he brought in free agents left and right which contributed to all the dead money we have had the last couple of years but at least he was trying to build a winner. York is interested only in making a profit and has no interest in the product on the field as long as the seats keep getting filled. many local columnits like ray ratto also agree with me on this point i have been a 49er fan for life and John York has been a stinker ever since he came here.
