The gold came out a couple of years ago. The alternate jersey for this year is a throwback red/white.
its an alternate jersey and as a 9er fan, i never want to see them. i think those things are hideous.
I used to manage a Foot Locker store. We could sell stuff through the NFL shop catalogs to customers. Every team has alternate color jerseys just so them and Reebok can make more money. I ordered a Julian Peterson jersey for my friend and didn’t even realize I ordered him the alternate color that you’re talking about. I think it actually looks pretty cool. Back when the Seahawks had their old uniforms I bought an all grey jersey and they had never worn all grey jerseys. We would sell all red Vick jerseys as well, and I’m not sure if I’ve seen the Falcons wear all red jerseys or not. It’s just a thing they do to make more money, that’s all. They sell pink jerseys for women (and some dudes would probably buy them), but I sure hope that no team ever wears all pink jerseys, unless it’s the Cowboys or Patriots. That would just be hilarious.
