I don’t think Martz will leave. Billick will prolly get another head coaching offer in pros or college. I think Cameron has a good offensive mind and could help em out.

  2. ERIK W says:

wouldn’t be surprised to see Billick as the OC.

  3. okdude says:

Mike Martz is a pass happy OC and the 49ers have Frank Gore in the backfield. It could happen, but only if Martz runs the ball more than 20 times a game.

Brian Billick is not an offensive genius. He needs too retire.

Cam Cameron- Crap, Crap, Crap. He will be working for Lucky’s next season.

  4. Ryan says:

Cam Cameron is a good choice.
Mike Martz is an oc. that is known for passing more than running.

  5. Phenom says:

Mike Martz wont leave and plus do you really want him he will get your QB killed.
I don’t know if the 49ers want anybody else from Baltimore and as for cam Cameron they should hire him I know he ****** as a head coach but as a OC he helped Rivers get better now look at rivers.

  6. MGIRL says:

I think Cam Cameron would be a good choice…they need a strong OC in there to help get Smith to the next level…

Mike Nolan held on as the 49ers coach by the skin of his teeth so he needs to get them to the playoffs next year or he’ll be out of a job. Since the 49ers were miserable on offense all year and QB performances were especially dismal, I think Mike Martz would work well as OC since he has the best track record from the names listed of working with young QBs and SF desperately needs Kurt Warner or Marc Bulger (at the very least) performances out of Alex Smith.

If Nolan gets fired next year, then Brian Billick would be a good replacement. Since he’s got an 80-64 record and a Superbowl under his belt, he’d be over qualifed for an OC job, regardless of how awful the Ravens were this year.
