Sun, 06 Apr 2008 15:53:06 +0000 http://www.49erstraining.com/football-american/how-did-the-patriots-acquire-the-49ers-08-1-draft-pick/#comment-811 9ers wanted the pats pick last year so they offered them their pick this year for their pick last year which turned out to be joe staley. im a 9ers fan and hindsight is 20/20 but im happy with the trade. joe staley was our best olineman by far. if you think about it, arizona took levi brown with the 5th pick. staley turned out to be as good or better than brown, so the trade isnt incredibly horrendous like most people think. i mean nobody thought the 9ers would **** this much, thats why they made the trade. things just didnt work out for us. 9ers wanted the pats pick last year so they offered them their pick this year for their pick last year which turned out to be joe staley.
