Fantasy: Should I start Pennington against the 49ers, or Romo against the Giants?

A Normal Guy asked:


Giants definitely have the better defense, and Romo is a little inconsistent. However, Romo can explode occasionally and have a great game. This is the playoffs, so I need to make the right choice. Who would you start?

   I would certainly go Romo on this one. Barber likely won’t be a hundred percent and the Cowboys NEED to win. Also, the Giants really don’t have the greatest secondary. Pennington and the Phins just run too much…

   Idk romo ..ehhh …giants defense….ehhh pennington…best passer rating in the NFL…ehhhh .. yeah defiently pennington

   Pennington a hundred times over….i wouldnt waste my time hoping for Tony Romo to do well agains the New York Giants spectacular defense. Pennington isnt horrible this year, and Romo is definitely a better QB, but with this matchup i would take Pennington. he has some weapons he can throw to against the SF D.

   Even as a 49er fan, I’d go with the safe choice in Pennington. Our secondary can be questionable at times.
