I used to be a 9er fan back in the rice era but they haven’t done much sense than. The cowboys went down hill when Irvan got hurt and ainkman retired the game dosen’t mean much to me anymore but I would watch it if it was on.

One less team Dallas has to worry about.

    HOW BOUT DEM COWBOYS*!!!

I haven’t looked at our schedule yet, so no I didn’t realize that… I thought that game was an automatic, but I guess not.

I think that the reason they aren’t playing each other is because the niners would blow em out, and they don’t want to embarrass the cowboys that much.

I didn’t know there still was 49er fans. Get over it. Dallas and the 49ers would just be two under 500 teams playing for nothing.

I wish we (the Cowboys) would get to play the 69′ers I love to see them girls get beat down!! Roy Williams would clean their clock lol. Sounds like you need to Thank God for giving the 9ers a break and an easier schedule…they will need all the help they can get. Go Cowboys!!!

The NFL likes to create as balanced of a schedule as possible. The 49ers don’t get the Cowboys because of the standards that the league uses to create it’s schedule.

A football team plays 6 games within it’s own division obviously, along with 4 games against another division in it’s conference, then 4 games against a division from the other conference. In the case of the 49ers if say they play the NFC North, they would then play the only teams in the East and the south that finished in the same spot in their respective divisions from last season.

That’s how the NFL operates and keeps it’s competative balance that has worked for the league.
