smart @ss asked:
for a offensive lineman and have they been fired yet?
No they don’t, the Pats keep the 49ers pick and forfeit their own.

The funny thing is the Pats don’t get that pick cause of the cheating remeber durrrr!!
Which lineman was it though? That is funny they have to forfeit it away!
see how carefully I follow NE?!?
God and by god I mean Bill bellichick of course.
i don’t know which lineman it was but don’t get your hopes up because the guys before me are dumb, they have to forfeit their original draft pick not san francisco’s
its not who its what. the fact that the organization thought they were an offensive lineman away from competing at a high level is responsible. did you really think they would have been this bad after the draft last year?
my god, these people are clueless and dont know sh1t about football. the patriots forfeit THEIR OWN PICK not the one they got from SF.
btw for your information, the 9ers got joe staley, the current RT for them.
it was a good trade back then and i will still stand by it. hindsight is 20/20 nobody thought the 9ers would be this bad, which is why management made the trade in the 1st place. if the 9ers didnt expect to make the playoffs this year, they wouldnt have made the trade last year. simple as that.
No, New England gets to keep the 49ers pick….they just lose THEIR original pick which might very well have been the 32nd. So, luckily SF at least got to 5 wins to bring the pick outside the top 5.
I think Nolan was responsible for that move and has since been relieved of Personnel duties.
Actually they do get that pick, they had two picks and lost their pick they normally get, they did not lose the pick from San Fran for this year
The 49ers struck a trade with the New England Patriots (giving up their 2008 first round pick and their 2007 second fourth-round pick) for an additional first-round draft pick(in 2007) that they used to select T Joe Staley out of Central Michigan. The deal was made by the the 49ers coach M. Nolan who at the time had total control of the coaching and Gm duties. He is still going to be the coach, but the team has hired Scot McCloughan to be their new Gm.
And to the guy above me, the Patriots lost THEIR first round pick(#32), not the one they received from the 49ers(#7).
I don’t know if Nolan has those responsibilities, but he should be fired anyway.
The GM is responsible. On being fired I do not know.
